The second set saw an eerily similar fate to the first as the Pioneers jumped out to an early 7-2 lead over LMU Tusculum continued to connect on hits and pushed their lead to 16-5. The Lady Railsplitters were able to connect on back-to-back attacks, but the comeback was not enough as the Pioneers took the second set, 25-10.
