WINGATE, N.C. – The Lincoln Memorial women's volleyball team fell in three sets (25-16, 25-14, 25-13) at No. 21 Wingate on Saturday afternoon in Cuddy Arena. The Railsplitters (6-15, 4-9 South Atlantic Conference) wrapped up their three-game roadtrip with the setback to the nationally ranked Bulldogs (23-1, 14-0), who remain unbeaten in conference play.
Set 1: Wingate 25-16
After the Railsplitters led 6-5 early, the Bulldogs reclaimed the lead with a 4-0 scoring run. Lincoln Memorial rallied right back with a 5-point burst of its own to take an 11-9 advantage. However, the Bulldogs quickly reclaimed control by taking 12 of the next 13 points to cruise to the opening set win.

Set 2: Wingate 25-14
Wingate got out to an 8-1 edge and led by at least five points for the remainder of the set. Bedel had two aces, and 
Karson Brock had one ace in the second period.
Set 3: Wingate 25-13
The Bulldogs began with a 5-0 lead and never allowed the Railsplitters to string more than two straight points together en route to clinching the win. 
Gabriela Abreu had two kills for Lincoln Memorial in the final frame.
