ROCK HILL, S.C. – Ahead of the 2022 South Atlantic Conference Baseball Tournament, the conference announced the All-Conference Teams on Wednesday morning as the Lincoln Memorial University baseball program picked up their first All-SAC honor since 2019.
 
Junior starting pitcher Patrick Queener picked up All-South Atlantic Conference Third Team honors after helping lead the Railsplitters to a 27-17 regular season finish and are primed for the SAC Baseball Tournament where LMU earned the No. 6 seed.
 
Queener – a right-handed pitcher from Brentwood, Tenn. – has been dominant on the mound for the 'Splitters throughout 2022. In 12 appearances across the season, he has tossed 65.0 innings of work with a 4-4 record while punching out 88 batters and allowed opponents to post just a .272 batting average. In SAC rankings, the junior finished the regular season ranked second in the conference in strikeouts (88), third in strikeouts per nine innings (12.18) and ninth in innings pitched (65.0).
