@SplittersWVB Travels to North Carolina to Face Catawba

The Lincoln Memorial women's volleyball team is set to travel to North Carolina for a match at Catawba at 7 p.m. on Friday. The Railsplitters (3-5, 5-11 South Atlantic Conference) are coming off weekend losses to Anderson and Newberry at Mary Mars Gym before getting a bye for a midweek game. This is the first weekend road match for Lincoln Memorial since beating Limestone in four sets on Sept. 9 in Gaffney, S.C.
 
Railsplitter Strikes
  • LMU ranks third in the conference in total attacks (1,857) and fith in total digs (760) entering this weekend's matchups.
  • Freshman setter Amana Lisi is second in the conference in total assists with 468. Lisi is fourth in the conference in assists/set (8.21).
  • Junior outside hitter Kristen Moehring stands at fifth in conference in total attacks (413) and seventh in total kills (142).
  • Junior libero MJ Trujillo ranks tenth in the SAC with 171 total digs.
SCOUTING CATAWBA: The Indians are coming off a three-set lost at Lenoir-Rhyne on Tuesday and have lost three in a row to fall to 3-10 (1-5 SAC). Catawba ranks fourth in the conference with 1.66 aces per set and sixth in total service aces (73).
 
Individually, Kary Hales enters the weekend in fifth place in the conference in digs/set at 4.00.
