Harrogate, TN – The Lady Railsplitters took on the Salem University Tigers this Wednesday night for their midweek game. Lincoln Memorial took the victory in against the Tigers, 75-60. LMU advances to 10-5 overall.
 
In the 1st quarter, Alexa Smiddy started the game off with a jumper for 2 points. Lauren Flowers put up 5 points, Saquita Joyner put up 6 points and Jordan Maney put up 5 points. There were 7 rebounds in the first quarter from: Saquita Joyner, Geovana Rios, Alexa Smiddy (2), Lauren Flowers, and Jordan Maney. In the 2nd quarter, Kadija Conteh started LMU off with a 3-pointer, followed by a 3-pointer from Chloe Savage. Lauren Flowers put up 8 points, Saquita Joyner put up 2 points, and Geovana Rios put up a 3-pointer. There were 9 rebounds recorded in the 2nd quarter. The score was 38-32, LMU at the end of the half.
 
In the 3rd quarter, Alexa Smiddy started LMU off with a 3-pointer, followed by a made jumper from Jordan Maney for 2 points. Lauren Flowers put up 3 points, Jordan Maney put up another 3-pointer, Kadija Conteh put up a 3-pointer, Geovana Rios put up a 3-pointer, and Saquita Joyner put up 3-points. There were 8 rebounds made in the 3rd quarter. In the 4th quarter, Saquita Joyner started LMU off with a good free throw, followed by Jordan Maney for 2 points. Alexa Smiddy put up 5 points, Saquita Joyner put up another 2 points, along with Jordan Maney putting up an additional 2 points. There were 12 rebounds in the last quarter. The final score was 75-60.
 
The Lady Railsplitters took the victory over Salem, 75-60 this Wednesday evening. Lincoln Memorial will be back in action this Saturday January 14, 2023, away at Anderson.
