BRISTOL, Tenn. – The Lincoln Memorial men's volleyball team swept Quincy (25-18, 25-23, 25-13) Friday afternoon at King's Student Center Complex. The win evened the Railsplitters' record at 4-4 while dropping the Hawks to 1-2 on the year.
Set 1: Lincoln Memorial 25-18
The Railsplitters jumped out to an early 11-3 lead thanks to a 9-1 scoring run and would lead by at least five points the rest of the way. 
Shay Spadaro put down three kills in the set-deciding streak and six overall in the first frame to pace the Lincoln Memorial offense.
Set 2: Lincoln Memorial 25-23
After back-to-back kills by Spadaro and 
Matthew Gentry to get the Railsplitters a 7-4 edge, the Hawks responded back with a 4-0 rally to regain the lead, eventually extending the advantage to as many as four points. Down 20-16, Lincoln Memorial tied it with a 4-0 rally and took 9 of the final 12 points of the frame overall, clinching it on a termination by 
Justin Sharfenaker. The Railsplitters got six kills from Sharfenaker in the second set.
Set 3: Lincoln Memorial 25-13
Quincy led 12-11, but Lincoln Memorial clinched the set and match with a 14-1 scoring streak, including taking the final 10 points of the match and punctuating it with a Sharfenaker ace. Spadaro paced the offense with four kills in the final frame.

The second set featured efficient offenses, as the Railsplitters outhit the Hawks .583 to .391.
Inside the Box Score
- Spadaro put down 14 kills (.524 hitting percentage) while adding five digs and a block.
- Sharfenaker went for 11 kills, three aces, two digs, an assist and a solo block for a match-best 15 points.
