Harrogate, TN - The Lady Railsplitters took on the Catawba Indians home, in Tex Turner this Saturday afternoon. Lincoln Memorial fell to Catawba, 42-54. The Lady Railsplitters are now 13-7 overall and 6-5 in conference.  
In the 1^st quarter, Geovana Rios had a steal 15 seconds into the game to let Alexa Smiddy start things off for her team with a fast break jumper in the paint. Alexa Smiddy also put up an additional free throw. Jordan Maney had a jumper in the paint for 2 and Lauren Flowers had a fast break layup and a 3-pointer. LMU had 10 rebounds in the 1^st quarter. In the 2^nd quarter, Saquita Joyner kicked things off with a layup in the paint. Saquita put up an additional 4 points off a 3-pointer and a free throw. Alexa Smiddy had a jumper and 2 good free throws for a total of 4 points in the 2^nd quarter. Geovana Rios had a 3-pointer and Jordan Maney had a jumper for 2. Lincoln Memorial as a team, recorded 11 rebounds in the 2^nd quarter.
 
At the start of the 2^nd half, Alexa Smiddy had a steal. Saquita Joyner started the 3^rd quarter up with 2 made free throws. Lauren Flowers made 2, 3-pointers. LMU had 8 rebounds, 3 from Saquita Joyner. In the 4^th quarter, Saquita Joyner had a layup in the paint. Saquita Joyner additionally put up another layup for 2 more points. Alexa Smiddy had a good free throw and Jordan Maney had 2 good jumpers in the paint for 4 points. LMU had recorded 9 rebounds in the last quarter.
 
The Lady Railsplitters fell to the Catawba Indians 42-54, this Saturday afternoon in Tex Turner. Lincoln Memorial will be back in action this Wednesday, February 1, 2023, on the road at Carson-Newman for another rival game at 5:30 pm.
