Harrogate, TN - The month of October has been kind to the Lincoln Memorial men's soccer team. Since the start of the month, the Railsplitters have taken down Mars Hill at home, a ranked Catawba on the road, and Carson-Newman at home, all in succession. Midfielder
Kriton Kiousis and goalkeeper Daniel Miklosi were named the SAC Offensive and Defensive players of the week this week as well for their recent performances. Through the month of October, Miklosi has yet to allow a goal.
The Railsplitters face an uphill climb against Wingate, a team that has historically had LMU's number. Throughout the series' history, the Bulldogs maintain a 13-3-2 advantage all time, including winning the last three matches by a combined score of 9-0. Wingate is currently leading the South Atlantic Conference standings with a conference record of 6-1. The Railsplitters are currently third in the SAC standings with a 4-2-1 record in conference play.

Daniel Burko leads the conference in goals scored (13), edging the second place player by five goals. He is also first in the conference in points with 28, and is second in the conference in shots taken with 47. Miklosi is fifth in the conference in goals allowed, allowing only 11 goals so far throughout the season, and is fourth in goals-against average, allowing less than one goal per game (.92).
