LMU Men's Golf #3 in DII

Norman, OK – The Golf Coaches Association of America's Collegiate Golf has announced the team rankings for men's golf today.
With two strong finishes in their last two tournaments, Lincoln Memorial's men's golf team was voted 3rd in the country for DII with 266 point in the voting, moving up from the 11 spot.  This ranking comes after a first-place finish last month at the UNG Mizuno Intercollegiate in Gainesville, GA, and a second place finish last week at the Cateechee Invitational in Hartwell, GA.

"I'm proud of the hard work this team continues to display day in and day out. It's always nice to receive recognition along the way! We still have a lot of work to do in order to reach our ultimate goal and we'll continue to do the right things daily," said Coach Robinson. "We have to take each tournament as it comes and earn the right to compete each week, but it's a challenge that this group looks forward to!"

Play in the UNG Mizuno Intercollegiate last month was led by George Durkan and Loic Naas who both finished tied for second overall tournament at 8-under.

At the Cateechee Fall Invitational last week, Max Reynolds took first-place in the tournament shooting a 198, 15-under for the three rounds.

North Georgia took the #1 spot in the voting with 296 points in the voting with Oklahoma Christian in second with 274 points.
