FRIPP ISLAND, S.C. – The No. 3 Lincoln Memorial University men's golf team will travel south to compete in the Golfweek Fripp Island Invite at Fripp Island Resort at Fripp Island, South Carolina, Oct. 26-27.

The Railsplitters are coming off a long rest after a solid performance at the Copperhead Championship where they competed on a tough course and still landed at third place as a team. The Railsplitters have not finished below third place as a team throughout the entire year, and have a team win at the 2026 South/Southeast Regional Preview.

This will be the Railsplitters second year in a row competing at Fripp Island Resort, with the last trip bringing a 14th place team finish in a competitive field. This year brings about strong competition as well, with ranked opponents including No. 1 Florida Southern College, No. 6 Barry University, No. 7 University of North Georgia, No. 8 USC Aiken, No. 9 Palm Beach Atlantic, No. 10 Grand Valley State University, No. 13 Lee University, No. 15 Columbus State University and No. 23 Washburn. Flagler College, Wingate University, and Valdosta State University are also receiving votes. Rounding out the field is the University of Pittsburgh at Johnstown and Emmanuel University.

The Railsplitters will tee off Monday, Oct. 26, as they look to finish out the fall season with another team win.
