ROCK HILL, SC - The South Atlantic Conference has announced its WePlayed Sports Golfers of the Week for the first two weeks of the 2026 Fall season, and Lincoln Memorial University's Senior Henry Drake snagged Men's Golfer of the Week honors following a strong performance at the 2026 South/Southeast Regional Preview from Sept. 28-29. Drake followed up with a solid performance through the wind and rain at the Hurricane Invitational from Oct. 5-6. Drake is the second Railsplitter in a row to take the honor for the 2026 Fall Season.

Hailing from Reading, England, Drake snagged the Railsplitters first individual medalist honors of the year at Lake Jovita Golf and Country Club, posting rounds of 66-64-68 to give himself an 18-under par score while competing for the Railsplitters, while contributing to a team win for the South/Southeast Regional Preview. At the Hurricane Invitational, Drake posted a respectable two-over par performance (70-76) in the shortened tournament through hurricane-esque weather that axed the third round.

"We're really proud of Henry for earning SAC Golfer of the Week honors," head coach Brad Robinson said when informed of Drake's achievement. "His individual win last week was a great performance, but more importantly, it was a reflection of the work he has put in and the way he has consistently strived for excellence. Winning your first collegiate tournament is a special accomplishment, and to follow that up with this recognition makes it even more rewarding. Henry has unmatched potential, and we're excited to see him continue to develop and contribute to our team."

The award shows the phenomenal start to the season for the fourth-ranked Railsplitters, who now have a team win, an individual medalist, and have not placed under third overall as a team through the three tournaments so far.
