Salisbury, N.C. --- The Division II Conference Commissioners Association (D2CCA) announced Lincoln Memorial University forward Daniel Burko as its 2023 Southeast Region Men's Soccer Player of the Year Tuesday, Nov. 28. Burko's honor higlights the D2CCA Southeast Region Men's Soccer All-Region teams.

A sophomore from Løvenstad, Norway, Burko was named South Atlantic Conference Offensive Player of the Year after ranking second in the nation with 19 goals scored, helping lead the Railsplitters back to the NCAA Tournament with an overall record of 11-5-3.

Athletic communication professionals from Division II Southeast Region schools and conferences selected the D2CCA all-region teams. The process concludes with All-American selections announced in December.
