Harrogate, TN - The Lincoln Memorial women's volleyball team fell to Anderson in straight sets, 25-19, 25-21, 25-17. The Lady Railsplitters moved to 9-17 and 3-13 in the South Atlantic Conference (SAC).

Set 1:
LMU had a four point rally to start the set but Anderson slowly caught the Lady Railsplitters at 10-10. The Trojans slowly pulled away with a 5 and a 6 point run to take a 22-14 lead. LMU took 5 of the next 7 points but ran out of time, losing 25-19
Set 2:
In set 2, Anderson had to keep up as LMU kept a slight edge or tie throughout the set. Play was close up to 20-20, where AU took 6 of the next 7 points to close out the set.
Set 3:
The final had Anderson in control throughout the set. Anderson pulled out to a seven point lead at 11-4. LMU tried to come back but it was not enough as AU closed out the set at 25-17.

LMU is headed to Wise, VA on Monday, November 6, for a 7pm conference match with UVA-Wise. The Cavs are 9-14 with a 2-13 mark in SAC play.
