Women's basketball routs Union

Harrogate, TN - The Lincoln Memorial women's basketball team was in action at home on Wednesday night against the Union Bulldogs. The Lady Splitters controlled the game from start to finish, taking a commanding 105-52 victory at home to improve to 6-1 on the season.

The Bulldogs hit the first shot of the game, a three pointer, to hold their only lead of the night From there, Lincoln Memorial completely dominated the game. The Lady Splitters ended up outscoring the Lady Bulldogs 22-10 in the first quarter and 26-13 in the second quarter to take a commanding 48-23 lead into the half. The domination continued into the second half as the Lady Splitters offense got even stronger, scoring 57 of their points in the back end of the game, while limiting Union to just 29 points, securing a 105-52 victory, and improving to 6-2 on the season.

Jordan Maney led Lincoln Memorial in scoring with 23 points. She was followed by Matty Tanner, who seemingly couldn't miss during the game, with 20 points on 7-of-10 shooting from the floor, including an incredible 6-of-9 from beyond the arc. Alexa Smiddy added 14 points, Jazzmen Robineson added 11 points, Zyan Smith chipped in 10 points, Jamyah Winter added six points, Lauren Flowers and Sophie Henry added five points each, Geovana Rios added four points, and seven rebounds to lead the team on the boards. Emily Savage added three points, Chloe Savage and Macy Barnes added two points apiece to round out scoring for Lincoln Memorial.

With the victory, Lincoln Memorial moved to 6-1 on the season. They will be back in action on December 16th on the road at Limestone.
