Men's Volleyball Sweeps Limestone for Sixth Win in a Row

HARROGATE, Tenn. – The Lincoln Memorial men's volleyball team swept Limestone (25-15, 26-24, 25-22) Saturday afternoon at Mary Mars Gym. The win improved the Railsplitters' record to 9-4 while dropping Limestone to 6-4.

Set 1: Lincoln Memorial 25-15
Back-to-back aces from Johan Negron capped an early 5-0 scoring run for the Railsplitters that gave them a 6-2 lead, and they would hold at least a three-point edge from there. Shay Spadaro paced the hosts with four kills in the first frame.

Set 2: Lincoln Memorial 26-24
Back-and-forth throughout the set, Lincoln Memorial scored 4 of the final 5 points, clinching the frame on a Spadaro termination. Negron led the Railsplitter offense with nine kills in the second set.

Set 3: Lincoln Memorial 25-22
A late 4-0 Lincoln Memorial rally including kills by Matthew Gentry and Cole Campisano gave the hosts a 24-20 lead before clinching the set and match on a Limestone service error. Campisano's six kills led the Railsplitter attacked in the third period.
