Harrogate, TN – The Lady Railsplitters were home in Harrogate today taking on the Coker Cobras for a SAC matchup. Lincoln Memorial dominated against the Cobras, winning 18-2 and are now 5-6 overall and 1-3 in conference.
 
 
In the 1st period, Kelly Csenar gained the first draw control of the game and scored the 1st goal for LMU assisted by Jamie Small. Ali Van Der Ziel scored 2 goals, one assisted by Josie Tinnerello. Then, Josie Tinnerello assisted by Camdyn Bullard, Camdyn Bullard assisted by Halle Hensley and Ryann Doyle assisted by Ana Carney all scored goals before the end of the period. In the 2nd period, LMU's Haleigh Barnett came out strong and scored a free position shot. She scored another goal later in the period assisted by Ali Van Der Ziel. Halle Hensley assisted by Breanna Booth, Jaedyn Ryba from a free position shot, and Chandler Bell assisted by Ana Carney scored to take LMU to a 9-goal lead over the Cobras before the half.
 
After the half, Ryann Doyle gained the first draw control and moved it down into Cobra territory for Josie Tinnerello to take a shot on goal. Ryann Doyle picked up 2 groundballs before she scored her 2nd goal of the game from a free position shot. Ali Van Der Ziel scored her 3rd goal of the game bringing LMU to a 12-goal lead over Coker by the end of the period. In the 4th period, LMU came out firing shots at Coker's goal. Jamie Small and Kelly Csenar assisted by Sophia Gardea had back to back goals. Later in the period Ana Carney had a groundball and a good clear for LMU which allowed Josie Tinnerello to score another goal assisted by Jamie Small. Sierra Landsman scored the last goal of the game, locking in a 16-goal lead over the Cobras. Elle Miller and Keegan Gillman both did a great job in goal limiting the Cobras to only 2 goals the entire game.
 
The Lady Railsplitters defeated the Coker Cobras 18-2. Lincoln Memorial will be back in action March 29, 2023, away against Tusculum at 1 pm.
