HARROGATE, Tenn. – The Lincoln Memorial men's volleyball team swept Alderson Broaddus (25-10, 25-10, 25-21) Friday night at Mary Mars Gym. The win was the Railsplitters' 14
th in a row and improved them to 17-4 while dropping the Battlers to 10-16.
Set 1: Lincoln Memorial 25-10
The Railsplitters led 8-0 to start, highlighted by a pair of aces and a kill by
John Luers, and they would cruise from there to a decisive opening set win.

Ethan Hubbard and
Justin Sharfenaker had two kills each in the first frame for the Lincoln Memorial offense.
Set 2: Lincoln Memorial 25-10
The hosts again got off to a big lead, this time 12-3 after an ace by Sharfenaker. Campisano's trio of kills led the Railsplitter offense in the second set.
Set 3: Lincoln Memorial 25-21
The Battlers kept within striking distance for the majority of the set and got to within two points as late as 23-21, but a Sharfenaker kill followed by an attack error by Alderson Broaddus clinched the set and match for Lincoln Memorial. Sharfenaker paced the Railsplitter offense with five kills in the final frame.
