Men's Volleyball Secures Senior Day Sweep over Tusculum

HARROGATE, Tenn. – The Lincoln Memorial men's volleyball team swept Tusculum (25-14, 25-16, 25-19) on Senior Day Saturday afternoon at Mary Mars Gym. The win was the Railsplitters' 15th in a row and improved them to 18-4 while dropping the Pioneers to 9-15.

Set 1: Lincoln Memorial 25-14
After trailing 6-5 early, the hosts went on an 8-1 run featuring two Matthew Gentry kills and two Justin Sharfenaker aces to go ahead 13-7, and they would lead at by at least three points for the remainder of the set before clinching it on a Lucas Chazo termination. Cole Campisano's five kills paced the Railsplitters in the first frame.

Set 2: Lincoln Memorial 25-16
A 7-0 scoring run on Ethan Hubbard's serve, including two aces from the senior and two more Gentry kills, gave Lincoln Memorial a 13-5 lead and Campisano would clinch the set with a kill. Campisano again had five kills in the second set to lead the Railsplitter offense.

Set 3: Lincoln Memorial 25-19
Leading by a slim 19-18 margin, the hosts took 6 of the final 7 points to clinch the set and match. Campisano, Gentry and Will Eiken had three kills each in the final frame to propel the Railsplitters to the win.
