Newberry, SC – The Lady Railsplitters were on the road in South Carolina taking on the Newberry Wolves. Lincoln Memorial fell to the Wolves 8-16.
In quarter 1, Newberry gained the first draw control. After Newberry scored the first goal of the game,
Ryann Doyle came up with draw control which led to
Camdyn Bullard taking a shot. LMU's
Ana Carney scored the first goal for the Splitters from a free position shot.
Ana Carney then gained draw control after her goal and picked up a groundball.
Keegan Gillman recorded 2 saves in the 1
st quarter.
In quarter 2,
Jaedyn Ryba gained draw control at the start of the period.
Kelly Csenar scored a goal, bringing the score to 2-4.
Jamie Small, followed by
Josie Tinnerello scored for LMU bringing the score to 4-5 before half time.
Elle Miller had recorded 3 saves this quarter.
After the half, Newberry scored 5 goals throughout the period.
Kelly Csenar scored another goal for LMU, her second of the game.
Deadre Jackson had 3 draw controls and LMU continued to take shots on goal, however could not sneak any in.
