Men's Lacrosse traveled to North Carolina to take on the Catawba College Chiefs in a tough SAC matchup.Â

The first quarter was back and forth between shots fired on each side.  Catawba got on the board first with just four minutes left this quarter.  With a minute left,
Gavin Reid got a goal to make the end-of-the-quarter score 1-1. Â

Reid assisted
Rhodes Conroy within two minutes of the second quarter starting.  Catawba then quickly tied it up to try and get on a run as they scored just a few minutes later, making it 2-3. Â
Gavin Reid was able to tie it up as he scored again with an assist from
Jenson Jones.  Catawba then went on a 4-0 run making it 3-7 until
Kevin Jendrasik assisted Conroy to stop the run, making the score in this quarter 4-7. Â

Catawba came out of halftime scoring two goals back-to-back. Â
Gavin Reid scored his third of the day to try and bring the score closer. Â
Kevin Jendrasik scored just a few seconds after, making the score 6-9.  Jendrasik then assisted Reid making it his fourth and final goal, bringing it within two.  The end of the quarter score was 7-9.Â

Jordan Sullivan was leading the defense by getting caused turnovers to get the ball back on the offensive side to try and take over this game. Â

Catawba again came out, scoring back-to-back goals.  LMU responded with back-to-back goals from
Francis O'Hara and
Kevin Jendrasik.  Catawba scored again, making the score 9-12 with seven minutes left in the final quarter. Â
Daniel Pearl scored with three minutes left in the game, but it was not enough, as the final score was 10-12. Â
