Men's Lacrosse took on the #20 ranked Anderson University Trojans on a partly cloudy Saturday evening. They celebrated their four graduating seniors – Hunter Kot, Jordan Sullivan, Trey Jacka, and Gunner Cisko.
 
Though they put up a fight, they unfortunately fell with a score of 5-13.

How it Happened
Anderson got on a 5-0 run in the first quarter before LMU could settle the ball and find their rhythm.  Hunter Kot finally stopped the run with a goal of his own.  Anderson got one more goal in to make the score at the end of the quarter 6-1. 
 
LMU only let them score three goals in the second quarter, having the battle end at 2-3.  Rhodes Conroy and Gavin Reid were able to find the back of the net to try and get some momentum on the offensive side.  
 
However, Anderson did not lead up in the second half.  Getting four more goals in before the end of the game.  Hunter Kot and Aiden Smith were able to get two more goals in as well, but it was not enough for the Railsplitters.
 
Notables:
Hunter Kot led with two goals. 
Conroy, Reid, and Smith all had one goal.
Michael Rogers had three caused turnovers and four ground balls.
John Lombel had two caused turnovers and three ground balls.
 
Next Up:
The Railsplitters are not done yet – they will travel to Newberry College and have a rematch with the Wolves on Tuesday, April 25^th. Time is TBD.
