Men's Lacrosse traveled to South Carolina to take on the #15 ranked Limestone College Saints in their sixth SAC matchup this year.  LMU started strong but fell to the Saints with a score of 10-18.

How it happened:
The game started with Limestone getting a quick shot off and a save from
Hunter Rinehart. Â
Brock Saunders then got the game's first goal with an assist from
Hunter Kot.  Limestone responded with their own goal, making it 1-1.  Shots were being taken from LMU but were going wide.  Limestone then got another goal to get up by one.  With an assist from Reid,
Gavin Reid found
Daniel Pearl to get him a goal.  Pearl then assisted Reid to get him a goal getting them up 3-2.  Pearl found the back of the net again, making it 4-2 going into the second quarter. Â

The second quarter started with three shots from Limestone.  They then got three quick back-to-back goals to tie the game up at 4-5.  LMU seemed to get out of their rhythm as Limestone struck again with two more goals, making it a 5-0 run. Â
Aiden Smith finally stopped that run, getting a goal with an assist from
Jenson Jones, making the score 5-7.  Â
Daniel Pearl became dominant on the offensive end, earning himself a hat trick and getting the Railsplitters back within one.  They went into halftime with a score of 6-7.

The third quarter started with again another shot from Limestone quickly off the faceoff but ended in a save from Rinehart.  Shortly after, Limestone got two goals within seconds of each other to make it 6-9. Â
Matthew Wood,
Michael Rogers, and
Jordan Sullivan were all getting caused turnovers on the defensive end to get the Railsplitters going offensively.  LMU then had three quick shots that were wide until
Rhodes Conroy got himself a goal, bringing it back within two.  Conroy then assisted Pearl as he was having a day now, reaching four goals in this game.  This quarter ended with a score of 8-13.Â

Limestone went on a six-goal run, making it 8-16 before
Jenson Jones ended it with an assist from Conroy.   Limestone would get their final goal of the day three minutes before the game ended. Â
Rhodes Conroy got one more goal in for LMU, but it was not enough for the Railsplitters.
