DAVIE, Fla. – The Lincoln Memorial men's golf team finished 17
th at the NCAA South/Southeast Regional, which finished up on Saturday at the Grande Oaks Golf Club.

The Railsplitters tallied a 3-round total of 21-over par 873 for their placement in the 20-team field. The Top 6 teams advanced to next round, the National Championship, including West Florida (6-under), Barry (4-under), Nova Southeastern (even par), North Georgia (1-over), Lee (2-over) and Georgia Southwestern (2-over).

Lincoln Memorial's best round was a 4-over 288 on Saturday at the par-71, 6,725-yard Grande Oaks Course, as single rounds were played Thursday and Friday as well. Junior
Alex James had the team's best round of the tournament with a 2-under 69 on Saturday, also finishing with the best overall score (3-over 216) for a tie for 43
rd place overall individually.

Next in line for the Railsplitters were
George Durkan (5-over 218, T-49
th),
Loic Naas (6-over 219, T-57
th) and
Harry Lord (7-over 220, T-63
rd). Palm Beach Atlantic's Andrew Riley, playing as an individual, carded a 9-under 204, including an opening-round 62, to take home medalist honors.

The Railsplitters' season was highlighted by a tournament win at the Irish Creek Invitational in October and a fourth place finish at the South Atlantic Conference Tournament in April.
