Head coach Jeremiah Samarrippas and the Lincoln Memorial men's basketball team announced the 2023-24 season schedule on Friday. The calendar is highlighted by a 20-game South Atlantic Conference slate and two early season matchups  in the D2 CCA Tip-Off Classic against hosting Lubbock Christian University and the University of Illinois Springfield.
 
The Railsplitters begin competition at the D2 CCA Tip Off Classic on Nov. 3 and 4 hosted by Lubbock Christian University. Lincoln Memorial will take on Lubbock Christian University on Friday, November 3 with tip-off slated for 7:30 PM (CST) before taking on the University of Illinois Springfield Saturday evening at 7:30 PM (CST).
 
The Railsplitters open their home schedule against UNC Pembroke on November 10 at 7:00 PM, looking to extend their incredible Division II best 60-game home winning streak.
 
Lincoln Memorial will square off against four straight non-conference opponents following the home opener; three of which will be on the road. The Railsplitters will round out the non-conference slate at home against Winston-Salem University on Novermber 29, with tip-off slated for 6:00 PM.
 
In SAC competition, the Railsplitters will play home-and-homes with Carson-Newman, Emory & Henry, Limestone, Mars Hill, Tusculum and UVA Wise. Lincoln Memorial's first conference game is on
Dec. 2 vs. Newberry at Tex Turner Arena.

The Railsplitters will host 14 games at Tex Turner Arena, travel for 14 true road games, and travel for a neutral site battle to open the season during the regular season slate.
 
Lincoln Memorial is coming off a 30-5 season which included a run to the NCAA Div. II Elite 8. The Railsplitters again went undefeated at home in 2022-23 and have won their last 60 games at Turner Arena, with the most recent loss coming on March 6, 2019, against Wingate as part of the SAC Tournament. The 60-game win streak is the longest such streak in NCAA Div. II men's basketball.
