Harrogate, TN – The Lincoln Memorial women's volleyball team fell to Emory & Henry, 3-1, in their third conference match of the season.  LMU fought hard in the last two sets to come back but it was not enough to overcome being down two sets.  This puts LMU at 6-7 for the season and 0-3 in the SAC.
 
Set 1: Emory & Henry 27-25
The first set started with LMU taking control early by staying just ahead of the Wasps throughout most of the set.  At 18-17 LMU, the Lady Railsplitters jumped ahead to take a 24-20 lead, but after an LMU service error and two attack errors, E&H tied the set at 24-24.  LMU won the next rally, but E&H won the next three to secure the win.
 
Set 2: E&H 25-19
The second set started with both teams trading points and keeping it close.  At 12-12, the Wasps started inching ahead and eventually built a six-point lead 24-18, E&H would win the second set 25-19.
 
Set 3: LMU 25-14
After the intermission, LMU finally got on track and started playing with determination.  The Lady Railsplitters built a lead and started to pull away from the Wasps at the 9-7 mark.  LMU would control the set until the end and win 25-14.
 
Set 4: E&H 25-22
The fourth set started out fairly slowly for both teams without either team pulling ahead.  LMU would build a small lead at 13-10, but the Wasps would turn things around and took a 19-14 lead.  LMU would fight back and tie the set at 21-21, but E&H would prevail, 25-22.
