Greeneville, TN – The Lincoln Memorial women's volleyball team lost tonight to South Atlantic Conference foe, Tusculum, 3-0. LMU is now 7-8 for the season and 1-4 in the SAC.
The Pioneers (8-4, 4-1) came out strong from the beginning keeping pressure on LMU throughout the match. The scores were 25-17, 25-16, 25-21.
Tusculum had one player with double-digit kills, Emiah Burrowes (14), but outhit LMU 45 kills to 31. LMU had 14 errors to Tusculum's nine. The Pioneers hit a team .360 compared to LMU's .160

Moehring posted 12 kills on 32 swings for a .281 hitting percentage and had 7 digs.
Katie Cardenas led in digs with 10 and Amanda
Lisi had 19 assists and eight digs.
The Lady Railsplitters will head to Carson-Newman this Saturday, September 30, for a 2pm match.
