Harrogate, TN- The Lincoln Memorial Men's Volleyball team improves to 3-2 on the season with their 3-0 win over Emmanuel University on Friday, January 26th.Â
LMU would take the first set easily, winning 25-14 on a .577 hitting percentage. The Railsplitters would share the wealth, totaling 16 kills on the set. The second would go fairly similarly, with the team taking the set 25-17. Lincoln Memorial would complete the sweep on a 25-18 third set. Five players would tally over five kills on the match, led by
Matthew Gentry's nine. Gentry would add to his stat line on the game with four service aces and five assisted blocks.
Ethan Morgan added eight kills of his own on the day, putting up an impressive .889 hitting percentage. Other standouts of the game would include
Tate Colebaugh with several key digs and receptions on the day, alongside setter
Kohl Kutsch who would earn 37 assists.
