Salisbury, NC- Women's volleyball took down Catawba on the road tonight in four sets: 22-25, 25-23, 25-17, 25-17.
Catawba would catch momentum at the end of the first set, earning six straight points from 21-19 down to take the early lead. Lincoln Memorial wouldn't make the same mistake twice, however, holding their lead and playing smart, despite being outhit percentage-wise and evening up the score. It would be all LMU in the third and fourth sets, hitting .533 and .382, respectively, and earning their fifth conference win. Catawba falls to 2-10 on the season, 1-5 in conference play.
Stat leaders on the night would feature three Splitters in double-digit kills.
Kristen Moehring would earn 15 with
Agata Bogdanska following with 13 of her own. Josibeth Capellan would produce an impressive performance, earning 11 kills on a .429 attack percentage.
Lauren Pickett continues to remain solid as setter, garnering 47 assists on the night. LMU would tally 10 total blocks on the night, four coming from senior middle,
Katherine Bedel.Â
