Gaffney, SC- Women's volleyball would fall in four sets to Limestone on Saturday, dropping the contest 17-25, 25-20, 16-25, 19-25.
Lincoln Memorial would struggle offensively, hitting just .098 compared to Limestone's .151 on the day. The first set would feature an early Limestone lead, a deficit that the Splitters couldn't make up to drop the set 0-1. LMU would hit a bit of a stride in the second, taking the frame thanks to a late run in the set to even things up. The third and fourth sets would go Limestone's way, stringing along several points in a row to pull away and get their fourth conference win of the season.

Lauren Jacobs would also do her share defensively, recording 32 digs on the afternoon.
LMU moves to 11-5 on the season, 5-4 in conference play. They'll return to the court on Wednesday, October 16th, for a 7 PM road contest at UVA-Wise.Â
