Jefferson City, TN - The Lincoln Memorial women's soccer team is looking to continue their win streak as they travel to Jefferson City, TN to face Carson-Newman Wednesday evening. 

The series history between the two teams dates back to September of 1994, where the Eagles defeated the Lady Railsplitters 1-3 at home. The most recent match up was last season in October of 2023 at home, which resulted in a 1-2 loss against the Eagles. The series record between Lincoln Memorial and Carson-Newman is 10-20-3.

The Lady Railsplitters are coming off of a 2-1 win against Georgia College and a 3-0 shutout against Newberry. There was three different goal scorers in the Newberry match : Hannah Stafford in the 11th minute (assisted by Alicia Bevins), Jade Brown in the 22nd minute, and Elizabeth Butler in the 35th minute. The goals for Brown and Butler were their first goals of the season. Brown was also named this weeks Co-Juicespot Railsplitter of the Week.

Ryan Branson currently leads the team in points with 7 (3 goals, 1 assist), while Brown and Bevins are behind her with 5.

Carson-Newman is coming off of a 2-0 win against Mars Hill. 

In the SAC standings, Lincoln Memorial and Carson-Newman are currently tied for 3rd with 8 points. 

Kickoff is set for 7:30 pm.
