Harrogate, TN- Women's volleyball would fall to Lenoir-Rhyne today in four sets: 21-25, 25-17, 13-25, 25-23.
LMU would struggle to garner momentum in the first set, service errors making the difference in the frame. The Splitters would finally find a rhythm in the second, earning 15 kills and evening up the overall tally. LR would turn up the pressure in the third, hitting .250 in the set to go up 2-1. The fourth would stay competitive, seven ties and one lead change in the frame. A late surge by the Splitters would fall just short, however, the Bears ending the contest and moving to 14-1 (5-1) on the season.
Three Splitters would end with double-digit kills in
Kristen Moehring (15),
Abigail Kesler (13), and
Agata Bogdanska (12). Bogdanska would add to her stat line with six total blocks on the afternoon.
Lauren Jacob would also add another solid defensive performance to her resume, tallying 24 digs on the day.Â
