Harrogate, TN - The Lincoln Memorial field hockey team is slated to wrap up the 2024 campaign at Limestone on Saturday. This season, the Railsplitters set new standards for the field hockey program en route to completing the best season in Lincoln Memorial field hockey's young history. The Railsplitters set new program bests including: most wins in a season, longest winning streak, first conference victory, first home victory, first conference home victory, first shutout victory, three consecutive shutout victories, most goals scored in a season, and least goals allowed in a season.
The field hockey program began in 2021, with games first being played in 2022. The 2024 roster featured multiple players from the very first team ever fielded by the Railsplitters including:
Katherine Brislin,
Aurelie Msiza,
Haley White, and goalkeeper
Ana Carney. They have helped lay the groundwork for the Lincoln Memorial field hockey program and will go down in LMU history as the forerunners of Railsplitter field hockey.
Lincoln Memorial and Limestone are slated to take the field at 10 AM on Saturday.
