Harrogate, TN- The Lincoln Memorial Softball team played two games today in the Sunday portion of the LMU Invitational. LMU won the first game against Lock Haven by a score of 11-3 in six inning while falling short to Ohio Dominican 2-7.
Sterre den Duijn,
Katie Tuggle, and
Madison Henry would all walk out of the win with multi-hit games. Tuggle would feature with LMU's first home run of the year to contribute to the run rule.
Katie Fultz would throw for the complete game and earn the win.
The second game would be a string of bad luck for Lady Splitters, unable to get the bats going in the game. Ohio Dominican, on the other hand, would have the hot bat, garnering 10 hits to LMU's four in the final game.Â
Lincoln Memorial moves to 7-7 on the season and will look forward to their next action at home on Wednesday, February 21st, for a doubleheader against Lee starting at 1 PM.
