Harrogate, TN - Following sweeps of King University and Tusculum in the last week, the 19th ranked Railsplitters capped off the week the same way they started it: sweeping their opposition. The Railsplitters played host to the visiting Lees-McRae Bobcats on Saturday in Harrogate, sweeping them in three straight sets, 25-22, 25-7, and 25-15 en route securing a third straight victory, improving to 10-3 on the season.
Matthew Gentry led Lincoln Memorial in kills with 10. He was followed by
Griffin Wheatley with nine, and
Luigi Pacini with eight. Gentry added two assists and four blocks. Wheatley added three blocks and six digs. Pacini also added an ace.
Eliel Salva Torres had two aces and two assists.
Kohl Kutsch was everywhere, adding an ace, two blocks, 32 assists, and four digs.
Tate Colebaugh added five digs in the winning effort.
Lincoln Memorial will be back in action on Friday, March. 1, taking on Lindenwood on the road in St. Charles, MO.
