Women's Bowling Stallings Invitational- Day 1 and 2

Harrogate, TN- The Lincoln Memorial Women's Bowling team traveled to Greensboro, North Carolina this weekend to participate in the Stalling's Invitational.  

After a successful weekend at The Mount Shootout, the Railsplitters look to continue their success one last time before the USCB Sectionals.  

On Friday, the lady Railsplitters went 4-1 in matches, landing 11th place. In their first matchup, the team faced Coppin State. The first game of the series, the Railspliiters bowled a 154 versus Coppin State's total pin fall of 175. However, things quickly turned around when the Railsplitters out bowled Coppin State in the next 4 games. In their second match-up, Lincoln Memorial University defeated their opponent 184-173. In the second baker match, the Railsplitters bowled 812 against Nebraska. Their opponents bowled a 977, beating the lady Railsplitters by 165 pins. In the next baker match, they won 913- 831 against Duquesne, followed by a win against Belmont Abbey College 886-835. The last baker match the Railsplitters beat Norfolk State by 137 pins (900-763).  

Today, the lady Railsplitters played in a 5-person Team Games against MSMU, Sam Houston, Howard, Arkansas State, and UMES. In the 5-person Team games, the Lady Railsplitters went 2-3, winning against MSMU, Howard, and UMES.  

Tomorrow, the Stallings Invitation will conclude and the Lincoln Memorial University women;s bowling team will complete in a seeded bracket.
