Harrogate, TN- Lincoln Memorial would fall to Ohio Dominican 3-8 in the final game of the Railsplitter Invitational on Sunday.
ODU would carry on the momentum from their previous game, hitting the board early to gain a 5-0 lead by the end of the third inning.
Sterre den Duijn and
Katie Tuggle would help mount a rally in the fourth inning with RBI hits to leave the score as 6-2. ODU would answer with two runs in the top of the fifth to extend the lead back to six.
Anna Kate Reichter would add another RBI hit in the sixth inning to round out the day's scoring, leaving the final at 3-8.
LMU moves to 1-3 on the season, and will return to action on Wednesday, February 7th, for a non-conference matchup against Lee University doubleheader in Harrogate, slated for 1 PM and 3 PM starts.Â
