Bristol, TN - For the third time in a row, the Lincoln Memorial men's volleyball team took to the road and brought home a victory without dropping a single set, en route to winning their fifth game in a row. The Railsplitters took to Bristol on Tuesday to take on King University. Lincoln Memorial swept King University 25-22, 25-19, and 25-22 to claim a 3-0 victory, its fifth in a row, improving to 16-5 on the season.
Griffin Wheatley led Lincoln Memorial with 16 kills, posting a 52% mark hitting. He was followed by
Matthew Gentry with 10 kills, hitting 47%, adding two service aces.
Justin Sharfenaker posted nine kills, hitting a team-leading 57%. He was also second on the team in digs with six and added one ace.
Eliel Salva Torres added six kills and two assists.
Axel van Baars added five kills and one dig.
Kohl Kutsch tallied one kill with 37 assists and a team-leading nine digs.
