ROCK HILL, S.C. (TheSAC.com) – Lincoln Memorial, Wingate, and Catawba each finished the 2023-24 season with identical 16-4 records earning a share of the South Atlantic Conference Men's Basketball Regular Season Title. Lincoln Memorial earns the No. 1 seed in next week's SAC Men's Basketball Championship, while Wingate will be the No. 2 seed and Catawba will be the No. 3 seed. The Railsplitters hold a 2-1 record versus the other two teams, while Wingate and Catawba had a 1-1 head-to-head record, but Wingate was 1-1 against Lincoln Memorial and Catawba was 0-1.  
 
Carson-Newman earned the No.4 seed with a 14-6 record, while Tusculum will be the No. 5 seed with a 12-8 record. Earning the No. 6 seed is Coker who finished the season with an 11-9 mark.  Anderson landed at No. 7 seed and Lenoir-Rhyne will be the No. 8 seed. Both Anderson and Lenoir-Rhyne finished the season with 10-10 records. Anderson won the tiebreaker based on a 2-0 head-to-head record.
 
The 2024 SAC Men's Basketball Championship will take place March 5-8 at the Rock Hill Sports and Events Center in Rock Hill, S.C. The quarterfinals will be played on Tuesday (March 5) and Wednesday (March 6), followed by the semifinals (March 7) and finals (March 8). The SAC Tournament champion receives an automatic bid to the NCAA Division II Men's Basketball Tournament.  The SAC Men's Basketball Championship schedule is as follows:
