Jefferson City, TN- Lincoln Memorial Women's Volleyball fell just short against Carson-Newman in their road contest today.

LMU would start off strong, taking a back-and-forth first set 26-24. The second set would also be a close one, featuring eight ties and five lead changes but ultimately falling CN's way, 23-25. The Eagles would close out the game, winning the last two sets 13-25 and 18-25, respectively. 

Kristen Moehring would have 18 kills in the match, leading the team in the category. Joining her as a stat leader would be Agata Bogdanska, who would tally eight total blocks on the night. Lauren Jacob would also have yet another game recording double-digit digs (15). 

Lincoln Memorial moves to 3-1 so far this season, their next action taking place this weekend where they will travel to Cleveland, TN for the Flame Invitational. LMU will open play in the tournament on Friday, September 13th, at 9 AM to take on Arkansas Tech University.
