Harrogate, TN - The National Association of Basketball Coaches and the National Association of Collegiate Directors of Athletics has named Lincoln Memorial guard
Elyjah Freeman the national Player of the Week.

Freeman averaged 35.5 points and 11.5 rebounds per game while shooting 66% from the field as #11 Lincoln Memorial won a pair of games last week. The freshman from Palm Beach, Fla., scored a career-high 36 points with 11 rebounds and four assists over Carson-Newman and added 35 points and 12 boards against Coker. He hit 27 of 41 field goals (.659), four of six three-pointers and 13 of 19 free throws (.684). He added 2.5 assists and 2.5 steals per game as the Railsplitters improved to 11-2 on the season. Freeman is currently ranked fifth in the South Atlantic Conference in scoring and rebounding.
