Men's and Women's Cross Country Finish Season Ranked in Regional Poll

New Orleans, LA – In the final U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association regional ranking, both the Men's and Women's Cross Country teams will end the season in the top 10 for the Southeast Region. This marks the third consecutive season both teams will finish in the regional top 10. 

The women finished at sixth after a sixth-place finish in the DII Southeast Regional Championship, marking the fourth time in the last five seasons the Railsplitters women's team has finished in the top 10 of the region. The finish marks the 21st-consective ranking for the women's team in the regional rankings.  

The men finished the season at eighth, earning the same finish in the DII Southeast Regional Championship on Saturday. This marks the third consecutive season that the Splitters have finished in the top 10 for the region. The Railsplitters have now found themselves in the top 10 for the ninth consecutive poll, a new program record, besting the record they set last season.
