Harrogate TN - Women's Volleyball fell in straight sets to Coker on Senior Night at Mary Mars Gym, 20–25, 11–25, 23–25. The program honored its lone senior, Nikolina Kojic, during pre-match recognitions, then battled late in the third before the Cobras closed it out.
Kaytlin Johnson paced the attack with 11 kills and three block assists, while Megan Maier added seven kills and a match-high three service aces to spark LMU's late push in the third. Setters Carley Raleigh (15 assists) and Lauren Pickett (9 assists) split the offense, and Lauren Jacob anchored the floor defense with 10 digs and two aces. At the net, Sarah Robbins posted a team-best five block assists, with help from Alexia McGee (3 kills, 1 BA) and Laney Inman (2 kills, 2 BAs).
As a team, the Railsplitters finished with 28 kills, .060 hitting, 27 assists, 5 aces, 37 digs, and 6.0 total blocks (12 block assists). Coker countered with a highly efficient night, 49 kills on .370 hitting, and led the Railsplitters in serve-receive and transition to create separation in the first two frames before surviving LMU's surge in the third.
Women's Volleyball closes the regular season on the road next week: Friday, Nov. 14 at 7:00 p.m. ET at Lenoir-Rhyne in Hickory, N.C.
