Harrogate, TN - The Lincoln Memorial men's basketball team is slated to be back in action on its home court five days after falling to Lenoir-Rhyne in the home and conference opener on Black Friday. The Railsplitters will play host to the Johnson C. Smith Golden Bulls on Wednesday night, with tip-off slated for 6:30 PM in Tex Turner Arena. The Golden Bulls of the CIAA have never met the Railsplitters (SAC) on the court, but the two have a pair of common opponents played this season. Both Johnson C. Smith and Lincoln Memorial have squared-off against Lenoir-Rhyne and Elizabeth City state, with each yielding the same results. The Golden Bulls fell to Lenoir-Rhyne by 24 before defeating Elizabeth City State by 10. The Bears defeated the Railsplitters by 12 last Friday, but Lincoln Memorial routed Elizabeth City State by 29 at home in mid-November. 

Lincoln Memorial comes into the game averaging 84 points-per-game, holding its opponents to 80.8 points-per-game. EJ Smith leads the Railsplitters in scoring, averaging 14.2 points-per-game. He is followed by Yassin Hussein, averaging 11.2 points-per-game and a team-leading 6.0 rebounds-per-game. Nate Mims averages 11 points-per-game and is the teams second-leading rebounder, hauling in 4.6 boards-per-game. Armon Jarrard saw his first action of the season against Lenoir-Rhyne, scoring 11 points, going 3-of-6 from long range to average 11 points-per-game. Jayden Spearman averages 10.8 points-per-game, leading the Railsplitters from beyond the arc, connecting on 40% of attempts from long-range. Drew Lewis averages 10.2 points-per-game, 3.6 rebounds-per-game, and a team-leading 3.2 assists-per-game.
