Princeton, NJ – The Lincoln Memorial men's volleyball team sweeps Princeton 3-0 for their 12
th win of the season.
The Railsplitters dominated the first set 25-14, as LMU had their highest attack percentage of the night at 0.529 and Princeton recording their lowest at 0.118. The second set was a closet battle, but Lincoln Memorial came out on top 26-24. Thanks to a 3-0 run in the third set, LMU won set 3 resulting in the match win with a 3-0 sweep.
Johan Negron led the night in kills with 10 for a .316 attack percentage.
John Luers recorded the team-high in assists with 32, and
Matthew Gentry and
Axel van Baars both led in blocks with 3 block assists each. Luers led in the dig category with 8 digs.
As a team, Lincoln Memorial tallied 55 points, 42 kills, 7 service aces, 6 blocks, 35 assists, and 25 digs.
With the win, the Railsplitters move to 12-1 on the season.
Their next match is in less than 24 hours as they travel to Newark, NJ to face NJIT tomorrow, March 2
nd at 1 pm.
