Rock Hill, SC- The regular season is finished, meaning that it is officially tournament time for Lincoln Memorial Softball. The South Atlantic Conference announced the SAC Softball Conference tournament matchups today, with LMU receiving the #3 seed in the tournament and the first-round host right.

New this year, each of the top four seeds will host the bottom four seeds in a best-of-three series. From there, the four winners will advance to the Championship bracket which will be hosted by the highest remaining seed. The Opening Weekend series will be held Apr. 25-26 with the Championship bracket games being played May 1-3. Lincoln Memorial secured the third-place position after sweeping Wingate yesterday in the last series of the regular season, bringing their record to 31-16 on the year and 15-9 in conference play. The Railsplitters will face the #6 seed, Anderson, for their first-round series in Harrogate. Game one of the series will be played on Friday, April 25th, with games two and three (if needed) scheduled for Saturday, April 26th. Sunday, April 27th, will be reserved in case of inclement weather. The winner of the series will move on to the Championship bracket, where the highest remaining seed will host the last four in a double-elimination format.
