Harrogate, TN - Lincoln Memorial men's volleyball coach Brian Hogg was named the 2025 IVA Coach of the Year.

In the 2025 season, Hogg guided his team to an outstanding 24-1 record, including 15 dominant 3-0 sweeps, and a current 17-match win streak—their only loss coming against #13 UC San Diego. Hogg led LMU to three wins over nationally ranked opponents: a  3-2 victory over #19 Harvard, and  3-0 wins against both #19 NJIT and #20 Mount Olive. Under Hogg's leadership, LMU ranks nationally in several key categories: 13th in aces per set, 6th in blocks per set, 14th in digs per set, 9th in attack percentage, and 1st in both match win-loss percentage and opponent hitting percentage. His coaching success is also reflected in individual accolades, with two players earning IVA Offensive Player of the Week honors and three being named IVA Defensive Player of the Week. Hogg capped off the season by leading LMU to its seventh consecutive IVA Championship title.
