Harrogate, TN – The Lincoln Memorial Men's Tennis team heads to Sumter, South Carolina for the third meet of the fall season, competing in the ITA Regionals. Competition for the Railsplitters will start on September 26th and will run through September 29th.  

LMU will compete in both singles and doubles competition during the tournament, with two sets of singles draws and one doubles draw.  

Six total Railsplitters will be sent to participate in both the doubles and singles events. The doubles event will feature teams of Hugo Ruiz Espejo and Alexandru Rares Giurea along with Sergio Sebastian Aranzeta Boneta and Victor Bourguignon. In singles competition, Radu Florea, Rares Giurea, and Kai Miyatake will participate in the A draw, with Rares Giurea entering the field as the 16th seed. Aranzeta Boneta and Bourguignon will compete in the B draw.  

Florea will enter the tournament ranked at 13th for the Southeast Region for singles players in the latest ITA rankings.  

This marks the first ITA recognized event of the season for the Railsplitters, with the Men's doubles draw beginning Friday at 8 am and the Men's singles draw starting at 10 am. A full tournament schedule and bracket can be found below.
