Harrogate, TN - No. 20 Lincoln Memorial men's volleyball earned a 3-1 victory over Northern Kentucky on Friday night in Harrogate, taking the match by set scores of 23-25, 25-11, 25-18, 25-15. The Railsplitters responded after dropping the opening set and controlled the final three frames, finishing the night with a .363 hitting percentage while holding the Norse to .109.
Johan Negron and George Stevens led the offense with 14 kills apiece, while Axel van Baars added 10 kills, three aces, and 11 digs in an all-around performance. Relja Milosavljevic was efficient at the net with eight kills on .800 hitting, and Inbar Shachar paced the attack with 35 assists. Defensively, LMU had three players reach double-digit digs, as van Baars, Zachary Zian, and Shachar each finished with 11. At the net, Oisin Walsh posted a team-high five blocks to help the Railsplitters total eight team blocks.
Lincoln Memorial is back in action on Tomorrow, Jan. 31 at 2 p.m., hosting Northern Kentucky again in Harrogate.
