Harrogate, TN - The Lincoln Memorial women's lacrosse team and head coach Alyssa Shaver have announced the upcoming schedule for the 2026 season.
This season we will see ten home matches, six away matches, and one neutral site match. Four out of the ten home matches will be South Atlantic Conference matches and will be played at LMU Lacrosse Complex, with the other six SAC matches being away. In the four seasons that Coach Shaver has led the women's lacrosse team, they have went 21-16 at home and 38-41 overall.
The first month of the 2026 season will be full of home non conference games for LMU, starting out with their home opener against the University of Tampa on February 7th. The following week Lincoln Memorial will host two matches as they host North Greenville on February 11th and Lake Erie College on February 14th. Three more matches finish out the month of February at LMU Lacrosse Complex: University of Alabama-Huntsville on February 17th, Thomas More University on February 21st, and Gannon University on February 28th.
The Railsplitters will begin the month of March at their lone neutral site match of the season as they face Lee University in Maryville, TN on March 5th. They will then come back home to play their first SAC opponent of the season, Catawba College, on March 7th. Next, LMU will have their first true road match of the season as they travel to Hartsville, SC to face Coker on March 14th. The team will then play against Emory & Henry for their last home match of the month on March 18th, followed by their last March match up against Lenoir-Rhyne in Hickory, NC on March 21st.
Lincoln Memorial will begin their final month of the regular season on the road as they have a pair of road games, with the first being against UVA Wise on April 1st in Wise, VA; and the second against Anderson on April 4th in Anderson, SC. They will then host their last two home game of the regular season on April 8th and 11th, hosting Tusculum and Newberry, respectively. The two-game home/away pattern continues as they will finish the regular season on the road with games against Wingate in Wingate, NC on April 18th and Mars Hill in Mars Hill, NC on April 22nd.
The quarterfinal matches of the SAC Tournament will be on April 25th-26th and the semifinals will be on April 29th at the higher seed campus sites. The championship match will be on May 2nd in Matthews, NC.
