Greenville, S.C. - After earning a victory over the weekend in the Railsplitters match up against eighth-ranked King, Shonticia Taft has been named the Conference Carolinas Women's Wrestler of the Week. 

The award marks the second conference Player of the Week award for Taft this season, and the third the Railsplitters have received in the 2025-26 season. 

Taft's win comes thanks to a Fall victory over Kristyn Harr of King in the Railsplitters regular season finale, as Taft secured six points for the Railsplitters. 

Taft and Lincoln Memorial will be back in action this weekend, traveling to compete in the NCAA Region III Championship hosted by Emmanuel University in Franklin Springs, Georgia from Friday to Saturday.
